After a RESET or the creation of a new account it is often very advantageous to max out (or at least build up) resources before moving to your target map. Many times a player will want to build up resources for an account before the target map even becomes available. This has several distinct advantages. Alpha Wars says that 100 million in resources is the limit for steel, carbon, and fuel but this is INCORRECT. A truer statement is that you can't increase the production queue for those resources AFTER it has reached 100m. So if you are still producing steel when it reaches 100m it will continue to produce until the queue runs out.
Some advantages:
Step by Step Carbon:
Step by Step Fuel:
Note that there isn't a neat little trick to increase fuel production like you can steel or carbon. Fortunately fuel is the least needed resource early on.
Also note that for new maps using a maxed resources player you should build 99s instead of panhards. Same time to produce except the 99s are way more effective and faster. Speed is very important on a new map. 99s are the super pans!
Some advantages:
- You can build out your home base usually without any enemy attacking you.
- Production rates are at their best the lesser number of bases you own. You can't own less than 1 base.
- If you use titanium (and I hope you do) then you are going to get the most produced resources for your titanium at this point.
- Going into a new map with maxed out resources will make you king in a day.
- Max out steel production on all bases.
- When steel gets close to 100m then you need to max it out again right before you reach 100m.
- Compute your upper limit: For Steel, multiply # of bases times 3m. Then add 100m. This is the baseline where we manipulate the limits.
- For example: you have five bases. This means 5 x 3m + 100m = 115m. One base would be 1 x 3m + 100m - 103m.
- Right before your steel reaches your upper limit you start building an Atay for each of your bases. That immediately deducts 3m x #bases total steel from your total. Immediately re-up your production of steel to max.
- Now cancel building all of the Altays.
- You'll recover most of your steel back after cancelling but now you've re-maxed your steel production.
Step by Step Carbon:
- Max out carbon production on all bases.
- When carbon gets close to 100m then you need to max it out again right before you reach 100m.
- Compute your upper limit: For carbon , multiply # of bases times 2.5m. Then add 100m. This is the baseline where we manipulate the limits.
- For example: you have five bases. This means 5 x 2.5m + 100m = 112.5m. One base would be 1 x 2.5m + 100m - 102.5m.
- Right before your carbon reaches your upper limit you start building a Patriot for each of your bases. That immediately deducts 2.5m x #Bases carbon from your total. Immediately re-up your production of carbon to max.
- Now cancel building all of the Patriots.
- You'll recover most of your carbon back after cancelling but now you've re-maxed your carbon production.
Step by Step Fuel:
- Max out fuel production on all bases.
- When fuel gets close to 100m then you need to max it out again right before you reach 100m.
Note that there isn't a neat little trick to increase fuel production like you can steel or carbon. Fortunately fuel is the least needed resource early on.
