Here are my reset instructions that I've come up with through personal experience. Hope this is help to some people.
If all possible try to just move to a different map before you perform a RESET. This can only be done if you have only your home base and you haven’t moved recently. Hopefully you can find a “friend” that will destroy remaining bases so you can just move. That way you retain all of your home base builds and resources (but not units).
In a RESET you maintain all of your Titanium but lose everything else. Sort of. Note that ALL resources you originally produced will still be present, HOWEVER, they will only be usable on the map that you were on when you RESET. For example, if you were on map 100 and reset and came back to map 120 then those resources you originally had would ONLY be present if you moved back to map 100. One tactic after a reset is to move your home base to a map you were previously on (that had high resources) and wait it out for five days and move maps again. That allows you to reclaim those resources.
Recoverable Details:
· MAX base extensions (max production buildings) costs only 100 titanium instead of 500.
· Walls cost only 25 titanium instead of 100.
· Sam missile costs for a base are reduced as well but am not sure of all the cost mechanics yet.
· Maximum buildings cost only 1 titanium.
Step by Step:
You are done.

Step by Step:
- Stop all production so you regain spent titanium.
- Sell all of your fuel to gain titanium. One titanium cost 50k fuel and increases by 50k each time you sell but the price resets back to 50k at 6pm EDT every day. So if you KNOW a reset is in your future start selling a little bit of fuel each day beforehand.
- RESET your account, go through the required re-training (ugh).
- After training is completed you will be assigned a new alliance and a new map. IMPORTANT: DO NOT CHANGE ALLIANCES OR CHANGE MAPS YET!
- Do NOT capture any new bases.
- OPTIONAL STEP: Build your home base up, max all buildings and SAMs.
- OPTIONAL STEP: Try to max out all of your production limits. At one base you get the best production rate for your titanium. Use this to your advantage. I max my resources to more than 100m for steel, carbon, and fuel. Of course this step is optional but you’ll make a bigger splash going to a new map with loaded resources. By the way, there is a method (saved for another tutorial) to get your resources WAY past the 100m limit.
- Now you can join an alliance. Do this BEFORE you switch maps because if you don’t your home base may be located far away from your alliance members. Note that if you wish to be placed away from your alliance members then perform step 8 before step 7.
- Switch Maps.
You are done.
