I feel like frogfoot jets are underrated... I feel like frogfoots are better than a10s in most ways. For starters, a10s specialize at destroying vehicles and frogfoots specialize at destroying defenses. However, I feel like the frogfoot can do the a10s job, as well as its own. Normal arming of an a10 is 60, and the frogfoot has 120. Armor is very poor on the frogfoot, with 375 armor to the a10s 750 armor. But if you think about it, there are not many units in the game that can shoot back at (any) airplane considering the player doesn't make any mistakes. I just want to know how you guys feel about the frogfoot vs a10, and maybe any combat strategies we can learn.

I like out of the box thinking. But.. in this case, the A10 will be better. The strength of a frog is attacking bases and does so at a strength of 3000. When it is attacking land units it attacks at only 120 (compared with 1500 for an A10). So it would take much longer to kill a div of land units with a frog and you'd have only half the armor of an A10. As far as attacking other jets it is still less desirable than an A10. Actually harriers are the better alternative to attacking other jets. I've had some success with harriers against other jets.
Frogfoots... I wish I could make a good case for them somewhere in the game but in a year and a half of playing there are better alternatives in every situation.

A10s are definitely better than frogfoots. I just wanted to see your reactions to my idea. Which brings me to my next... What do you think about a small group of raptors (not grouped, so 1 raptor per group) to be used to strategically attack enemy air units? I am not grouping them to allow not one airplane take all the hits from the enemy to keep them alive longer than if they were grouped into 1. I could use this tactic to attack enemy air units from all sides so they can't get away easily. Also, please do a unit tactics page on the raptor if you will.

Well your idea does have merits. It is difficult to target raptors because they move so fast and they are stealth so NOT grouping them together would indeed make it harder to target. Many don't agree with me, and that's OK, but I think the real value of raptors, and berkuts as well, is in their scouting abilities. And I know there are exceptions when there are cobras or apaches running around with no protection. I also like to use raptors and A10 combos to clear units at a base by allowing the Raptor to attract base fire while the A10 does its work. Because the raptor takes little damage even from base fire that tactic works well. I am not a proponent of berks or raptors attacking tigers at all. Targeting other jets with those units is almost a awaste of fuel. If you really want to target jets then use harriers.

Base not fire at raptors first now targets thunderbolts first.
